Probably so, as we have not manufactured that pump since 1997 or 1998 so even though you have owned it for only 5 years, the diaphragms are much, much older. Also, diaphragms typically need changing approximately every 2 years, so yours are way past due. Unfortunately, as we have not made them since the 1990's, even if you find some out there, be careful, as they are also old, and may have dry rotted.
